If you have another Surface device, here’s how to connect an Xbox One Wireless Controller. To find out if your Surface device can be upgraded to Windows 11, see Which Surface devices can be upgraded to Windows 11? Choose the Xbox Wireless Controller and follow additional instructions if they appear, then select Done. On Windows 10: Select the Start button, then select Settings > Devices > Bluetooth & other devices > Add Bluetooth or other device > Everything else. Choose the Xbox Wireless Controller and follow additional instructions if they appear, then select Done. On Windows 11: Select the Start button, then select Settings > Bluetooth & devices > Add device > Everything else. On your Surface, do one of the following depending on which version your Surface is running: (The Connect button is on the top of the controller.) On your controller, press and hold the Xbox button and the Connect button to make the controller discoverable.
